It has been really educational to do these. I don't remember every muscle name, but I can just about remember the amount and shape of each as well as how the action of a pose changes each one. I used to sit in front of a muscular model, and stress out because I couldn't figure out what was going on when I couldn't see the rib cage. It still can look a bit weird when I think about how small the ribcage actually is under a well defined model, and yet somehow it all mechanically works.
