Matt has a lot of quirks and hyperfixations, and that's what makes him so sweet. Here's a little example of them.

TL - Matt always feels uncomfortable talking to people for the first time, so his go-to coping mechanism is to speak to them through his teddy bear, who he says is much more confident and talkative.

TR - Matt's favourite seasons are spring and autumn. In the latter specifically, he loves seeing the leaves fall from the trees in all their pretty colours.

BL - You could say Matt likes listening to the ticking sound of watches. In truth, he's only listened to two - Melvyn's and Lisa's - and he's too nervous to ask anyone else. But he does like the sound.

BR - When he feels tired, Matt tends to suck his thumb. Sometimes he'll even suck Amy's thumb
