Asha Embarks on a Journey!!!

How about a female Sega character? Asha with her trusty Pepelogoo from Monster World/Wonder Boy (specifically, Monster World 4/Wonder Boy 6) join in.
She can attack with her sword. One of her specials has Asha placing a bomb which can hurt the opponent by contact or exploding if anywhere near it but it would also hurt her. Another one would involve her shooting fireballs and also shocking. Asha would use her Pepelogoo to dash into the opponent, blow at him/her, or float. Her assist would be Shion would launch fireballs or protect the summoner. One of her Impact Skill Attacks would be Pepelogoo Lullaby which involves her Pepelogoo enlarging and singing a lullaby which would put the opponent to sleep for a while (not too long though).
Asha is facing Akira Yuki from Virtua Fighter in the Estafan Village. Other than being property of Sega, they don't really have anything in common.
