The red stains on its thick, matted coat are attributed to the messy remains of its prey. The green stains are just plant matter that it smears on for fun.
It satiates its love for shiny objects by freezing prey and smashing them to tiny crystals. Its matted coat is excellent for trapping heat, allowing it to thrive in cold environments.
