*looks at the coy fish swimming in the pond for a moment, watching the fish swim in the cool water, then trots over to the cliff were Wolfie was standing. I looked down and saw the beautiful scenery below.Trees for miles with circles missing from houses people built or from lush meadows, far away I saw the yellow glow from the city. I heard wolfie howl and smiled. I raised my muzzel to the sky and let out a high pitched, long howl, joining her. Our howls echoed across the forest and into the sky*

*I hear crazeywulf join in and can't resist to stop and smile relishing the moment. I look down at the senery, where crazywulf had. I notice all the little specks of life moveing through out the land. I nudge crazeywulf and motion her to go play in the pond.*

*countinues to howl for a few seconds after Wolfie stopped. I smile at wolfie and howl again from happiness. I stop when wolfie nudges me and see that she motioned me to play in the pond. I smile again and run towards the pond and look back to see if wolfie was following me*

*Folows crazeywulf, and bounds into pond felling the cold water flow through my fur. I start splashing aruond as crazeywulf draws near and waits for her, meen while stareing at the coy fish flee*

*smiles and jumps in feeling the cool water rush through fur and battle scars. I dive deep to see how far the pond goes and see 2 coy fish, one was black with a white spot on its head, the other was white with a black spot. I stared at them, for some reason the 2 fish bothered me but I didnt know why. I went back up for air and tried to get Wolfie to follow me so I could show her the strange fish.*

*Sees Crazeywulf motioning me towards botom of the pool. I wink and dive down blinking to see better. She dives lower pointing to some fish. I wistfully follow to find her stareing at a strange pair of fish, one white, and one black, with dots on them. I cock my head sending bubbles shooting up. Crazeywulf goes up for air and I follow still looking back at the strange creatures.*

*comes up for air and looks to the sky that turned a redish orange. I smiled and looked at the setting sun, watching it retreat behide the trees and mountains. I heard wolfie come up for air and I smile. I jump out of the pond and onto the soft green grass, shaking my fur. I turned to look at Wolfie and howled. When I finished howling my mind searched for answers for why the fish seemed so strange to me but I only though of the moon spirt. I shook my head to clear my thoughts but they lingered no matter how hard I tried to not think about them. I sat down and stared at the sun that was nearly gone.*

*I come up to the surface, sweet evening air rushing into my lungs. I climb up out of the pond and shake my fur sending water flying in all directions. I look at crazeywulf and see her staring at the sky with a thoughtful expresion. She give a short howl, and continues to look on. I trot up next to her and enjoy the sunlight and warm slowly fading dusk. I look over to my den and nudge crazeywulf. Then I skip towards my den and enter into the dark still.*

*Still staring at the fading light, I fell Wolfie nudge me and see her skipping to the den. I smile and follow after her into the dark cavern. Inside it was dark but we both could still see with our great vison. The walls had strange drawings on them from humans who lived here when the sabortoothed tigers roamed the land. I stared at one, that looked like the fish from the pond and cocked my head to the side like they would change. I shook my head again and went to the next picture that showed a 2 wolves and a pup. I smiled remembering my memories of the past. I grimaced remembering that back then their were more of my species, but now almost none excist. Some in hiding and some living in different places around the world. I sighed and walked over to wolfie.*

*As I walk into my den I'm glad to see crazeywulf follow. I glance quickly around admireing the paintings on the wall. I then skip over to the far end of the cave where I lay down on my bed. the bed being multiple skins of deer and elk. while laying I look over at a series of pictures depicting my life. I sigh and lay my head on my paws, as I spot the last part... A seperation of packs*

*I smiled as I aproached Wolfie. I looked at the comfortable bed she was laying on. I setteled down next to her and lay my head on the soft fur, scenting the warm elk and deer. I smiled and turned to see wolfie looking at a drawing of wolf packs seperating. I wondered what it meant but I didn't ask her, thinking it would be rude. I shut my eyes and soon after drifted into a deep sleep. I dreamed of my past. I was only a pup and it was snowing. I was hunting with my parents, running a head of them. I could smell deer nearby, but it was to large for me to take down. I slowed and scented the soft white ice, looking for a rabbit or rodent. Rabbit are fast but Im faster, I though to myself. Soon I found the scent and rabbit tracks. I smiled and turned to see if mom and dad were still following me. They weren't far behide and they smiled back encourgely. I turned around and bolted towards the rabbits scent. I found a white rabbit that was eating something, I couldn't tell its back was turned. I smiled and leaped toward my prey. I felt the warm blood in my maw and was about to turn around to face my parents when a red backed bear attacked me. It threw me to the side, and my parents growed angrly. My back hit the bard wood of a oak tree and I saw my parents closing in on the bear. The bear roared and my parents went for its neck. I tried to scream for them to not to, but nothing came out. I knew what was about to happen, the reason my parents aren't alive. I woke up with a gasp and sat up. I blinked my eyes to remember where I was. I shook my head slowly and layed back down. I shut my eyes tightly and put my paws over my head them.*

*I continueed to stare at the image on the wall for a long time. I looked over to see crazeywulf sleeping, but then she stirred and woke up, placing her paws over her head. I rested my paw on her reasuringly, to make her feel better. Then I sat and thought about the image on the wall. It had been drawn by an indian who had been writing down the events of his hunting trip, and how a pack of wolves were hunting the same elk. When he killed the elk the wolfs lept for it but were captured by the human to be used as slave dogs. some managed to get free, but the older ones didn't. This was the spilting of the pack. I began to wimper loudly... very forlorn*

*I felt wolfie rest her paw on me and felt some what better. I removed my paws from my eyes and smiled at her. I saw her staring at the picture on the wall right next to her, but I could tell her mind was far away thinking of something for the look in her eyes. I looked at the picture too, still tring to figure out what it could possibly mean. Something from her past? Something that happened recently? I shook my head and stared at the other wall. My mind wandered, I unconsounessly thought about the fish, my dream, and what wolfie was thinking about. Thinking some how they were all connected but not knowing how. I shut my eyes and nuzzled the fur when I heard Wolfie wimper. My eyes flew open and I looked at her. She was still staring at the wall but she was wimpering. I layed a paw on her back, like she did to me. I stared at her untill she looked back and I smiled, seeing if she was okay.*

*My wimpering died down as crazeywulf rested her paw on my back. I felt significantly better and smiled. I then, in wolf langueage, told crazeywulf the story behind the picture, where the indian takes them and they split up and how I was one of them. I wimper a bit at the end, and look up at the cieling tears falling to the stone and sand floor. I blink my eyes trying to hid my tears to no prvial. The tears make water marks on my long dark brown fur*

*I quietly listened to the story behide the story. I looked back at the picture and then a wolfie. I tell her Im so sorry for what happened to her.
I rest my paw on her to comfort her. I saw tears stain her fur and said in wolf lanuage, "Maybe we could go look for the rest of your pack? We could seach for them and probably bring you pack together. It shouldn't be that hard, especially with 2 smart wolves, and one thats not even suppose to be alive" I thought about my story and wondered if I should tell her it. Tell her the reason why my parents were dead and why Im supposed to be.*

*I listen too crazeywul's story to and sigh, and say in wolf bark, I'm sorry. Then I say yah maybe we could look for them we can start tomarow. I let lose a long howl*

*I nod and smile a little. I howl with wolfie too. I felt somewhat better. I countuied to howl until it was broken by a yawn. I streched my legs and laid my head on my paws. I yawned again and my eye lids slowly closed over my bright eyes. I dreamt again but this time it was a good dream. Nothing much just me running. It was pitch black, I could see myself though but not the ground of sky. I was running in slow motion too. I didn't know what the dream was but I was happy so I countuied to run through the darkness. Even though I was running slowly, I felt like I was going very fast. It felt good, the wind in my fur. I smiled in my sleep.*
