Aaaaaaaaaa I FINALLY finished the updated the ref sheet of Taylor!! You will not believe how hard it is to draw the season 4 ODM gear istg… I had to make so many amendments throughout the process I’ve completely lost count of how many I actually did… I’m still not 100% satisfied with the outcome but a solid 90% will do lmao. I’ve spent sooooo incredibly long to make this as accurate as it is in the anime/manga and I’m so glad it’s finally finished!! Now I only have Rosé left to complete
I also added the next chapters of the story for both Taylor and Rosé, which connects to how the manga canonically goes, so beware of spoilers if you haven’t yet read it!

Even though there are no African Americans in Paradis, since the place is kinda like Germany (or overall Europe), I made Taylor because black women are absolutely stunning and gorgeous in every way and no one gon' stop me!!!!

So for Taylor, after joining the scout regiment, she almost instantly become friends with Hange. Obviously, it took her some time to trust the crazy scientist due to her past experiences, but the two just naturally clicked with their passion and interest in what they do and would share their knowledge with one another about the things they know most about and what fascinates them. Eventually, not long after meeting the two develop feelings for each other, but don't immediately admit them to one another as they’re both afraid of their friends reactions to them dating. However in the end, they both confess and start a relationship. Since Hange is aware that a lot of people dislike them due to their unique and chaotic nature, they weren’t initially the one to expose their feelings towards Taylor, as they were extremely afraid of rejection. In other cases Hange wouldn't mind, as they know her close friends will always stay by their side even if they’ll act weirder than usual, however Taylor was a different story - so they didn't want to mess up their already good relationship. But once Taylor made the first move, Hange poured all their emotions out and told the truth. Rosé was also fine with it, as she found Hange to be a good person deep down, one who really cared about Taylor. Plus, she wanted Taylor to be happy in her “who knows how long” life. Every day was valuable for a person like her - she would never be prepared for what day would be her last.

I think Taylor and Hange would make an absolutely amazing couple as they both have that passion for exploring new things and questioning as to “why” something is the way it is. They both match each other in terms of positive energy, good vibes as well as their charisma, with the only differences being in terms of hygiene and intelligence. Taylor prefers to be clean and well washed after a long and tough day rather than not wash herself for a week just like Hange is known for doing lmao. Hange is also more intelligent than Taylor, as even the author himself gave them a 11/10 for intelligence (so practically Erwin’s level of intelligence if not higher). So yeah. But Taylor isn’t much below her in that aspect. I haven't made an updated spreadsheet of Rose’s, Iris’s and Taylor’s official stats, but I’d say Taylor is a solid 8.5/10 She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to weaponry and how most technology works, but even if she doesn't - she tears it down to the smallest parts possible and examines them piece by piece to know exactly what’s going on. She also has great survival skills - if anyone were to throw her out in the woods for good, she’d spend the rest of life there. It wouldn't be an easy life but she’s guaranteed to live long - even with titans roaming around. She also loves to read, draw and sing, she’s especially talented in drawing and singing

Since the final chapters of AoT are tragic, where almost the entirety of the main cast dies, a tragic ending is also going to be present for my OCs… not mentioning Rosé in this as I’ll post her story under my drawing of her.
Before the rumbling happens, Taylor meets Onyankopon for the first time and is shocked to see someone so similar to her after all those years. You could basically say it was love at first sight… for him. Since Taylor was already in a loving and healthy relationship with Hange, his feelings for her weren’t reciprocated. But he accepted the fact that she was already with someone else and only made it his goal to help the team in a genuine manner. He didn't force nor try anything with Taylor, he just knew that if she was happy, he was happy.

This part is deeply intertwined with Rose’s story so it mentions Rose’s alleged death during the rumbling. (I’ll thoroughly expand on her in the next post to explain in detail what is going on and how the continuation works for the two)

As we all tragically know, Hange doesn’t survive the ruckus during the rumbling and gets themselves killed along with many others… As Taylor was one of the people that did manage to survive, this was an earth-shaking hit for her. She thought she lost the last people whom she cared and deeply loved. After a couple of months or so pass after the stopping of the rumbling, Onyankopon is a big help and support to Taylor in terms of her mental state. The woman attempted to commit suicide after the entire operation was complete. But he managed to snap her out of it and make her live on. He loved her deeply but he knew he could never be hers as Taylor’s heart was reserved only for Rosé and Hange. Nonetheless, he kept on helping her, expecting nothing in return (he wasn't trying to gain anything this way by taking care of her at all times) - he just wanted her to be at a better place mentally. After a whole year of grieving the loss of her close ones, Taylor spirals into a sudden health decline. She wouldn’t eat, sleep nor go out. She would just sit in one corner and never move from it…
Little does she know that one of the people so dear to her are still alive, on their way to search for her…
