after the fight with my past self, who quickly vanishes back to the past, Emma risks exposure to appear in the same warehouse i was in to check on me. i insist that i was fine when Emma can clearly see that i'm not. she tries getting through to me again, but i'm still in bound of holding my inner anger in and i claimed that i need to prove that i'm still capable of saving the image. That's when Emma is able to explain that i only acts like he needs to be this perfect Yakuza because the Tojo Clan is perpetually focusing that image onto me. Then i confessed that i still have my life and my family was still safe because of the Tojo Clan and need to prove that i'm still worthy of it and my friends. Then Emma asks how i could possibly lose her and i tearfully explains that my friends and family is only close to me for what i am at my best. i finally reached my breaking point when i yanked off my jacket (and my shirt) and shows Emma a demon samurai yakuza tattoo on my back, which was engraved onto me the first time i was in the Tojo Clan, denouncing myself as a barely adequate partner or knight for any sin royalty when this is who i really am. i am what i am today because of the Tojo Clan, believing that he owes everything to them because without them, i'm nothing. Finally knowing the truth after the Wrathful November arc last year, Emma explains to the my vulneralbility that the Tojo Clan didn't do anything to make me a new overpower of their Yakuza. i did because i was always the inspiration Charlie fell in love with, and she doesn't hesitate to tell me that she loves everything about me. Asmodeus finishes his heartfelt statement by telling me that he's a way better performer than anyone that i've faced before ever was - not something i could trust in myself, until now. me and Emma then share a hug and i finally ready to go back to my friends, knowing that my demonic angel (Charlie) will still be waiting for me, whether i'm perfect for the Tojo Clan or not
