At the inn Yachi was sleeping but she was also trying to reach out to telepathically. She couldn't reach Xeon. Xeon just didn't respond.
"Hey Xeon. Where are you?"
Nothing.
"Speak to me"
Still nothing.
She decided to reach for Pike instead.
"Hey Pike I think Xeon's troubled"
Pike did hear but he couldn't tell who was this voice at first.
"It's me, Yachi."
"You can communicate using telepathy?"
"Yep" she replied.
"Do you know about Xeon?" Pike asked.
"I know little bits of info but to know Xeon, not yet."
"I do know a secret about Xeon I should tell you" Yachi continued "he comes from a different world. One full of creatures called humans. I used to be human too."
"I know. Xeon was telling me a bit. So you said there is something wrong about Xeon?" Pike asked.
"Xeon wouldn't just not come like this. Even if he was out because of emotions he wouldn't ignore my telepathic messages. It isn't safe for him. I do think he has amnesia but even if he did he'd known that staying out at night is really dangerous. If he doesn't come back by tomorrow then I will be going to go search for him. You can join too if you want."
"I think it's almost morning so it would be close to waking up time" Pike said.
"True" Yachi agreed.
Eventually day hit. Pike woke up from his slumber. He looked at the vacant bed next to him.
"Hmm… Xeon is still not here."
Pike decided to just grab an apple and head straight to apartment 22. He knocked on the door.
Yachi responded "it's open. Come in"
Pike opened the door and Yachi was at the other side of the room.
"Oh… hey Pike. Has Xeon come back yet?" Yachi asked.
"Nope not yet. I'm going to assemble the super sevens (we should change our name since we have a new Pokemon) to start a search party."
Pike and Yachi went outside. Pike had to go back to his house to get some things. He got his backpack and put some things in it. He left to go meet the rest of his rescue team at the request boards. There was a mudkip named Kipper, a fenniken named Flame, and a charmander named Spark. Yachi was also there but Pike noticed that Frost and Hazel weren't there like they usually are. Frost is also second in command so she should be here.
"Has anyone seen Frost and Hazel" Pike asked.
The rest of the team said no in near unison.
"Anyway Xeon has been missing for the night. I don't know where he is but he should have been back by now. This is a rescue mission. We are going to split up and search for him" Pike said.
Afterwards they all ventured off into a giant forest full of trees called the Giant Tree Forest.

Everyone looked for Xeon but no one could find him. No one even new where to start looking. Eventually it became dark. Everyone turned back to the request boards. Pike was starting to get worried as was Yachi.
"Everyone, get some rest for tomorrow. Xenon could need some help. Everyone dismissed" Pike told everyone.
Everyone set off to their dwelling. Yachi stayed back with Pike.
"It's OK Pike. We'll find him back. Don't worry" Yachi tried to comfort Pike and then she left. Pike stood there alone for a moment. Then an idea came to him.
