I decided that I wanted to make a processing -like library for the Haxe  programming language

The reason I wanted to make a Processing-like library is because Processing  was the best tool I had to learn most of my programming. Processing uses very easy code to quickly create very interesting generative graphics which look really cool sometimes! (check out openprocessing.org for some really cool projects people have done). It is a library for beginners and experienced programmers alike built off the Java programming language (but a whole lot easier to use than Java…).

The reason I chose Haxe is because Haxe boasts the ability to write your code once and compile anywhere. That simply means that you could write a little piece of code and use that to… make a web app with HTML5, make a desktop application, make a mobile application you can put on the app store, even put it on some TV as well! Haxe also can make apps in other languages so you could make your program into Python, Java, C++, etc.

I felt that Haxe is pretty underrated so I wanted to do something people could easily learn it from. So I decided to try writing a new library I'm calling "Paxe" for now…

TL;DR - Processing is easy to use… Haxe can make your mobile app, desktop app, web app, or TV app… I am merging them together into a library I call Paxe, and here is an example I did using it;
