The reason I draw is to make things I imagine real.This car was (when it was in production) the ultimate car, 242mph top speed, and the instruments from a fighter jet on the earlier W2!!
This painting I applied a top tip from a painter I knew in New Zealand, Kees Bruin. He used a lot of pure cadmium colours in his work to get the intensity of blazing light sources and luminous colours. In order to get the right amount of punch, he used to deaden slightly all of the other colours by using tiny amounts of black. I decided to do the same thing here.

The W2 was indeed a super car. It has a twin-turbocharged engine that produces over 600 hp (450 kW) and over 600 ftยทlbf (800 Nยทm) of torque, and this in the year 1980. Top acceleration was up to 381.33 kph / 237 mph. And compared to the others from that time (Lambo, Ferrari, ...) this one was the most impressive. To me, STILL is. Yes, That was a car, indeed.

The Vector was a cool car, it is really sad though that Gerald who invented the car to compete against Lamborghini... ended up getting bought out by Lamborghini. They hated the idea of an american supercar competing with the Lambo....
Sad, but true story. The last I heard of Vector, was that Lambo owned it... they changed the design of the car a bit.....
