Due to pollution in the ocean and an increase of Lumineon preying on Starmie, some Starmies were able to adapt in Marverra causing them to undergo drastic changes. Marverran Starmies are more aggressive than their Kanto counterparts. The spikes protruding from its body is hard enough to penetrate the toughest metals. Its skin and spikes are deadly toxins in them. Marverran Starmies can also be found fighting with Toxapex over territory. It uses its signature move, Toxiskewers, to fire poisonous spikes at its enemies.
