Description EDIT: Switched Vana and Masde for story reasons, and added a couple of things to the bios.

I'm in too deep with making Trollan lore for the Mental Reboot AU, but I gotta admit, it's kind of fun (and gives me a lot more freedom than digging through Eternian lore tbh, I feel like I'm gonna get piled on for playing a little loose with things).

So, bouncing off from this thing , I came up with the Ringbearers, the rare few Trollans over the centuries that earned the Oracle Ring. Being an equivalent to Eternia's Champions, they've done great and wondrous things for Trolla, whether protecting their realm from great evils or bringing about changes for the better.

Arzon and Foosabella were actually based on characters that appeared in the shows. Arzon was based on the Oracle of Zalesia from the 200x cartoon, just with a silver-and-gold outfit showing he's the gold standard and greatest inspiration for Trollan wizards, and Foosabella is kind of a rework of the Muckess from the She-Ra episode "The Greatest Magic". I didn't care for the Muck Muck and Muckess thing and prefer Classics' idea of the Overlords--though maybe not the idea of them being an immortal magic council trying to maintain balance or something, I'm just going with them being the main ruling body of Trolla, with various councils overlooking their respective districts (i.e. the Crimson Council).

Anyway, bios of the Ringbearers:

Arzon-- Known as the Oracle, he existed in Preternia times. He was a talented Mage-Smith, having created his unbreakable staff and his ring-shaped medallion that helped him see past, present, and future, as well as creating portals to wherever he pleases. Thus, he was among the various archmages and smiths of the worlds--including the Trollan Overlords of that time--that created the Sword of Power. He served as a Trollan guide to He-Ro, assisting him and the other Masters of the Universe of that time in fighting the Horde. While starting off arrogant as the Trollans of that time tended to be, Arzon grew to love the people he was serving, even learning how to do things without magic (though that was because of an incident where his magic was stolen, humbling him greatly).

However, thanks to the Unnamed One's shenanigans (stealing the Sword, Arzon's ring, and various magics from other worlds; stealing the faces of the other Overlords when they tried to stop him and making them serve him; creating the Snake Men through shady deals; his attempts to purge the Horde from the Universe killing millions; wiping out half the Masters, including He-Ro, in a great battle before he was banished), the Trollans' culture of arrogance was blamed, so Trolla was cut off from the rest of the universe and the magics rewritten on the remaining worlds so that any Trollan who slipped in would be hardly able to use it.

Though stranded on Preternia, having lost his staff and his ability to use magic, Arzon spent the rest of his life helping however he could. Giving King Grayskull advice when he needed a way to defeat the Horde, doing what he could to save people from the Snake Men, being an assistant to the Sorceress of that time, and more. Even when homesick, and bitter about being punished for the actions of another, he still strived to do good.

Foosabella grew up in the chaos of Trolla's civil wars, caused by the power vacuum made by the Unnamed One's face-snatching of the Overlords (which is basically rape and murder to Trollans). When she lost her family as a young woman, she travelled to the Star Tree in grief, seeking advice for navigating the nightmare world--the Star Tree responded by giving her the first Oracle Ring, and whispered that she must commit herself to learning the power to create peace.

And so she did. She traveled and learned all about the world around her from various Trollans trying to live life, be they great scholars or humble farmers. She learned from every magician she encountered, discovering power she never knew she had. She learned how to stop conflicts from getting violent, and how to resolve them peacefully. And if not, well, she just had to show the Oracle Ring's power with a single pulse, and people would quickly realize that this lady was not to be messed with.  During her travels, she was charmed by a traveling toy salesman named Blim, who wanted just to spread joy to fellow Trollans, and eventually married him.

Over the years, she had a profound influence on everyone around her, becoming a diplomat that preferred stopping battles with a talk, though was not afraid to show how powerful she was. Eventually, the civil wars were ended, and Trollans looked to her to appoint their new Overlords. She did so, choosing people that she deemed worthy, but when it came time to find one more, everyone agreed that it should be her. She accepted, becoming the only Ringbearer to ever be an Overlord. Under her and the others, Trolla finally found peace and prosperity... for the most part.

There was one faction that refused to bow to the new Overlords--the Unnamed Order, who believed that the Unnamed One's ideas of Trollans deserving to reign supreme over the rest of the universe. Deciding that the rest of Trolla was not worthy of their goals, they resorted to terrorism to cow those outside their order into submission. One of the biggest way they did that was with their Destroying Angel--a nasty, powerful Trollan reputed to have a special connection with the Unnamed One.

Even worse, she outlived Foosabella, which frightened the Trollans. Who could possibly stand up to them now?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ero-Dee was a humble little song mage who decided that hey, maybe he should try a Sorcerer's Quest. Though he was laughed at, as his magic could only be used through music and there was no way he'd survive with the Unnamed Order running about, he did so anyway. And everyone was shocked that not only did he survive, he ended up with the emblem of Arzon and Foosabella--the Oracle Ring.
This soon got the attention of the Unnamed Order, and he got a target on his back for the Destroying Angel to hit. Often, he barely escaped with his life due to a powerful mage rescuing him, and in a couple of cases, sacrificing their lives to protect him. Racked with guilt over everyone having to defend him from that monster, he set off to learn how to overcome his weakness of being a sitting duck.
Learning incredible breath control and various song spells to use in a fight, he soon faced the Destroying Angel, and after a fight where he demonstrated that he was no pushover, defeated her with a song of his own creation. The spell peeled off her skin and warped her skeleton into a horn, and Ero-Dee followed up with a spell to trap her spirit within the horn. After it was locked up, everyone celebrated Ero-Dee and his amazing song spells, and looked to him to defend them with his music, especially when the Unnamed Order soon had a new Destroying Angel.
He'd be a keeper of Trollan culture, protecting it from those who wanted to erase history for their own ends (like the usual suspects). He's an inspiration to all Trollan song mages, artisans, and historians.
Vana was a spunky, wide-eyed girl that excitedly took on any challenge. Learning to read fast, mastering advanced magic, doing things without magic, surviving alone in the wilderness--she was ready for anything. Except when she finished her Sorcerer's Quest, earned the Oracle Ring, and realized the pressure of having to live up to her predecessors. For once, she found something that she was afraid of.
She tried to be her usual spunky, daring self, and take on challenges that no one else dared to take. However, other wizards bearing other Mage Emblems had done impressive feats like that, making her feel like she didn't quite match up to the title of Ringbearer. In frustration, she decided to go after the Unnamed Order. She failed miserably, nearly dying, and had to be rescued by her brother. When she recovered, she left in shame. But she didn't just leave her hometown or her country... she left her planet.
From there, she traveled from planet to planet in their little corner of the universe, managing to make friends everywhere she went. She defended the innocent with her magic powers, cleared any misconceptions about Trollans, and somehow convinced each world's leaders to make contact with Trolla. By the time she returned home, she was celebrated as the Girl Who Breathed in Space, a friend to all, Trollan or not, and a forger of friendships between worlds.
While she still continued her planet-hopping adventures, it was only within their dimension. She was always on call to take care of a Destroying Angel causing chaos, and used what she learned from other worlds to fight them. For the rest of her life, she wondered if a Trollan could ever visit outside of their dimension, seeing as the Unnamed One Incident was a few thousand years ago. However, she was at peace to realize that it wasn't her destiny.
Masde was a child when she first met Leber. He was a mysterious boy from the woods, willing to play with the lonely Masde. And play they did, finding a meeting place where they would have their adventures in nature, just the two of them. They both discovered that they were powerful magic users when defending themselves from wild creatures, and practiced their magic together, teaching each other tricks that their respective teachers taught them. After a time, Masde introduced Leber to her family, but Leber never took her to his. She wondered if he even had a family, and what they were like. But, she never pried, as he was already nervous about it.
Then, Masde went on her Sorcerer's Quest. And she earned the Oracle Ring.
It was soon after that she discovered that Leber's family was the Unnamed Order, and he was their next Destroying Angel. While the ones before him accepted their duty without question, Leber sneaking away to nourish his friendship with Masde made him doubt their cause, as she taught him so much about the world. Pleading with her to help him get rid of the curse of the Unnamed One speaking in his mind, Leber hoped that Masde would not turn her back. Masde gave herself a few days to let it sink in before she made her decision.
She helped him escape, and then they informed the Overlords of the Unnamed Order's whereabouts. She and the Overlords then proceeded to go after them in hopes of ending their threat once and for all. They captured the leaders and most of their muscle, and made sure they would never terrorize the people of Trolla again. As for Leber, they sealed his curse, and Masde made sure that he had a happy ending.
She spent the rest of her life showing love to everyone she met, and her last act was to use up all her magic to stop Trolla's supervolcano--Colorfulcano--from ending the planet. Though he grieved when she passed, Leber still lived lovingly in honor of her.
Orko... wait a minute, you know Orko!
We all know the story of Orko the Great, one of Trolla's greatest wizards, only to be swept away by a cosmic storm that spat him out into Eternia, where his magic doesn't work right. Despite this, he helps He-Man fight evil with whatever tricks he may have up his sleeve.
For this AU specifically, he might also deal with the Unnamed Order, having built itself back up after Masde's attack, and have targeted Orko when he was on Trolla, and may have allies in other dimensions to cause trouble for our heroes. But more importantly, he has the pressure of living up to his predecessors--especially in a place where he thinks he can't.
How do you suppose that he does live up to them?
Anyway, I've rambled long enough, if you made it all the way through my insanity, good for you.
