Description
I was working on a lab for Oceanography when I noticed how beautiful the blending colors were, so one of my friends, a professional photographer, took some snapshots for me.

This was done by taking waters of differing salinities and tempratures, coloring them with food coloring, and placing them in dixy cups. The cups are placed in corners of a clear, plastic tank, taped to the sides. The container is filled with clear, fresh, room temprature water.

Holes are then poked in the bottom and sides, allowing the colored water to flow to a different level of the tank.
