Nihil's backstory:
Nihil used to be a scatterbrained happy child with a personality not so different from SpongeBob's. He had a super happy life with his family as they travel around the world doing adventures, and Nihil and his siblings are all home schooled. So life was just the BEST you can imagine for this guy back then.
But one day, a nollmin hated that family due to many petty reasons... so he decided to use a special omnikiller to erase the family from all of existence. The whole family had their entire physical bodies, minds, souls, information, timelines, past actions, origins, and very existences annihilated.
Nihil was the only survivor, as he got a "reality anchor" implanted into him from some shady science experiment. The biological device managed to save and "anchor" Nihil's existence, so he was the sole survivor of the attack. But his entire existence now depends on the device, and if it ever fails... he will cease to exist.

Nihil then spends his life running away from that nollmin. But one day he got caught by the nollmin and got in a massive fight. He ends up KILLING the omnikiller, but the nollmin escaped.
Nihil is still always on the run from the nollmin recruited a team to always go after him, which puts him in constant misery. But there is one good thing in his life, and that is watching the dumb and stupid adventures the Steve gang has. Nihil became a HUGE fan of Steve, and even became best friends with Tim which meant a lot to him. Tim built a small house the size of a huge shed for Nihil to take refugee in and hide. Tim also gave Nihil new clothes like the hoodie he is wearing to further hide his identity. And finally Tim even gave Nihil his current name. That's right, Nihil IS NOT his real name. It is just a fake name to further protect his identity.

Sure, Nihil ended up loosing everything, becoming a vicious tough traveler, and has become a target for the nollmins. BUT at least, he is sure as hell living a better life now - all thanks to his new friends.
