Description
This project began as a heartfelt tribute to my beloved childhood character. I envisioned her holding something, and after crafting a small sketch, I decided to scale up to a larger piece. I enjoy allowing the clay to take on a life of its own, so there's little resemblance to the original character from my childhood. Whenever people see my creations, they often ask what it is, and in this case, I can simply say it's a vase. Now in its final drying stage, I'm pleased with the result, even though the hands may not be anatomically perfect. I appreciate the empty space, where instead of a bulky mass of clay, there's a sense of simplicity and void.
