Personality (When hungry):
Naga, representing the dark hole that Mario has within him, he is the definition of hunger. It dominates his life. There isn't a moment when he isn't planning to trick a poor soul into being his prey. And not just one. Sometimes his ravenous hunger can demand more and he takes what humans he can get, nearly stuffing himself at some times, his max being 7-8 (if he really wanted to). Staying in forests or jungles, it gives him a huge advantage for multiple reasons: Prey will be too deep in to be heard, if any electronics are on hand, the signal is too weak; and if they are not known to be there, who would miss them? Easily taken by hunger, he gains the mentality that any and every person, even friends, are potential meals. It's even seen that he gets much more crafty and his intelligence increases to come up with any way of catching prey. And said ideas can get really cruel, nasty, or just plain unfair. He loves being sporty, but easy catches are what he likes. Fight in prey interests him, showing how much they could give him some work and a good lasting meal.

Around friends, if any, he starts showing himself to want to prank, trick, or manipulate for fun. His idea for fun is heavily altered when hungry and not very reasonable, liked, or...appropriate. He usually likes seeing people get a bit more embarrassed from their circumstances from awakening from his trance he places them in. Naga's fun, however, doesn't go to a few things when manipulating people: 1. No murder or acts of severe violence; 2. No extreme physical harm to the prey; 3. No... "deep love".

His approach to people always comes off like he's a bad boy, being all sweet, yet menacing for his girth and how he knows how to manipulate one into being safe around him. Lying and acting nice, he makes his prey believe in him as a good soul, given a strong sense of safety and trust. Naga learns the "friend" and finds the best way to make it so that they "vanish" to the world, but only he would know the truth of them vanishing. If the prey gets to him (in the sense of intimidation, being of no satisfation to his hunger, or deepen the relationship), he may not eat them, but choose a fate for them that consists of them staying with him or him turning them loose. He might choose a select few to come back every then and again if he wants them to.

Persomality (When not hungry):

If ever like this, he is a completely different person. Not wanting or willing to harm, he is much more open to and sharing kindness. He even is much more willing to comply and agree to so much more. He loves socializing, so he is trying to find ways to reach someone to talk to or hang out with. He hates being alone when he knows he won't be this way for long. His mentality is much more stable, showing what he truly is under the hunger phases, intimidation, and scales. Only the truly willing and most patient will see Naga's most inner self if they are able to wait and endure all of his craziness to see this rare side.

Much more calm, he is also much more likely to be a bit lazy and highly tolerable of anyone. Naga shows no anger and no means of harming anyone. Only in self defense will he he harm or try to scare persuers off. Besides socializing, he loves to relax. Either laying out in the sun on some soft grass, a tree branch, or on a smooth rock, he absorbs the heat he always loves to be hugged by warmth. Given the chance, he also loves swimming, but usually if the water is warm enough for him. Hot springs are his most favorite of all bodies of water, seeing they stay warm and are at a steaming temperature.

As if it wasn't believable enough, he is willing to return kindness if anyone is willing to be nice to him. Any time he would help, he would always ask for what the person would like in their certain personal preferences. Somehow, this side of him is the only time where he is willing to give things up and let another tell him what would be best. For who he is normally is a crafty, sly and somewhat selfish, it's the opposite side of the coin of a personality he has.

Origin:

Many wouldn't know this past at all because Mario isn't too proud of this event in his life. The kingdom on nagas had been so miserable and unhappy with what naga rulers the naga folk request for and they thought maybe another species being can fill the role as king/queen. Upon some of them finding and taking Mario, they forced him to be ruler, but they had to make a deal with him. Mario accepted ruling for a week, and if he wasn't happy, he was granted full freedom to leave. The species adored him as ruler for that week and didn't want to lose him. Once Mario set himself to never be king for them again in his time of ruling, the forced Naga Queen was furious that he would abandon her species and force her to rule. Immediately after Mario tried to leave, the naga royal guard caught and imprisoned Mario, the queen setting him to be the eternal king by her side.

Soon before the ceremony foe his official permanent placement with the species, she tricked him and injected a syrem into Mario, making him become a naga so that he wouldn't break his own rule he put before quitting. Mario hated his imprisoned life and slowly becoming more and more like a naga that he found a way to give himself diamond claws to do self harm, aiming to kill himself before the initiation of becoming permanent naga and king. Near the completion of the transformation, he was rescued by fellow heroes as well as his brothers from the demanding and corrupted kingdom. The process was successfully reversed and was not ever permanent, but sadly, Naga was created. Bearing the nasty and viciousity of being a king mixed with who Mario was at the time, Naga is technically who Mario would be if the syrem were completed and the form became permanent. Due to the process not beind 100% completed, Naga isn't what the queen wanted, her naga syrem and personality not acquired and developed entirely in Naga, so not even Naga himself is accepted amongst the naga species and within the kingdom boundaries. And as many can tell, the evil king mentality was the part that is unincorporated in Naga today.

Foot Notes:
- Despite the image and what people think of him to be a small naga, his length is undefined to all, seeing he can hide a lot of his body in the trees and measuring has proven to be near impossible or risky. But he eats a lot, so one can assume he may be over 40 ft at this point to keep energized and support his size.

- In recent times, he has been discovered to actually have abilities of transportation through portals and dimensions. It is unclear how he gained said abilities, but research of Mario's most recent accident within travel while escaping a parallel universe, he gained the ability to rip holes in space and travel almost immediately after. This theory has been yet to be proven.

- In the day time, Naga is found to have a bright and vibrant set of red scales all along his snake body. At night, however, he is found to have the adaptive ability to change them to a very deep and soft blue, making nighttime easier to catch prey, seeing that he is invisible to the naked eye in the jungle or places with enough hiding spots/cover.

- The claws Naga sports on his fingers are made of diamond. No one knows what made this possible, but some reports are said that the bandages on his fingers are to not show the fusion of diamond with his fingers. His body has done an incredible thing by slowly fusing with them, and if x-rayed, are shown to have fuzed and become apart of his skeletal system and his DNA structure, now naturally growing, but at a much slower pace than human finger nails, even slower than toe nails.

- Recently recorded and documented, Naga has actually killed more humans than Evil King Mario even though he is more than two decades younger than EKM. No one wants to believe the numbers, but EKM has a sick perspective on this that Naga agrees to when hungry: Naga is keeping the human species down from more over population than it already has plaqued this planet with. If anything.... He's lowering the overall number.

- The claws are not just for show and intimidation. Naga uses them not only for those, but for self injury. The cloth on his body usually hides his self inflicted cuts. Yes, Naga does harm himself because he hates who he is, but only in set mind states will he actually injure himself in front of others. In some people's eyes, Naga is claimed to be emo due to these self harm tendencies, but he hides it very well.
