This photo is from Resistance 3, a game made by Insomniac Games. This is epilogue of that history. Destruction of terraformer and his fall on Chimeran Tower was an end of Chimeran War and beginnning of end. From that day, when Joseph Capelli destroy it he rescued Earth and all mankind from alien threat and deadly global winter. The story is an alternate history, where Tunguska Event in 1908 was the beginning of chimeran invasion and where Entente started Great War. In that universe there was no Second World War and Russian Empire doesn't fall by revolution and Central Powers but from chimeran troops. In 1949 they invade Europe but they was defeated in Great Britain. Soon they regroup their military and strike in USA. 4 years later, in 1957 aliens conquer all of planet but humanity organised many bases of resistance. At the end, when Capelli defeat Chimera mankind recaptured cities and destroyed chimeran invaders once and for all.
