Legend has it Håkan Dahlmark shot, and missed this creature 1874 in the Lunde forest in Timrå county. He named it a Skvader and has earned a place in the local folklore. It is said to be a combination berween a wood-grouse and a hare.This piece was commissioned by Skvader Event. I was invited to illustrate my interpretation of this demonic being. Personally I believe it to be a devil. Or a forest god in disguise!

I've searched for an illustration of a Skvader for a long time. I actually come from Timrå and am looking for a tattoo to represent my home county.
I really like this image and just have to ask if it would be OK to use this as a tattoo? It would mean a whole lot to me
