Sab Shimono is an Asian-American actor and voice artist, born on July 31, 1937.

Among his many voice acting credits, Shimono can be particularly noted for voicing The Emperor in “Samurai Jack”, the only exception being Season 3’s “The Birth of Evil”, where the character was instead played by Keone Young as a younger version. Other voice roles Shimono notably took on include Monk Gyatso and Master Yu in “Avatar: The Last Airbender”, Mr. Murakami in the 2012 “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series, Grandpa Park in “Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters”, and Mr. Takagawa in “Scooby-Doo! and the Samurai Sword”.
