This is frog is based on the idea that human impact on our planet often has adverse effects, including the appearance of deformities and sick wildlife. Of course, the multiple heads and legs were a creative liberty and based on multiple references. (And yes, extra heads and limbs can occur naturally without human intervention, which is pretty weird and cool!)
