Description
The vampire scene from last night at our Halloween event "The Haunted Hangar". I modelled the vampire with plasticine then a mold was made, then cast using epoxy and latex. The head was mounted on a wood bust and neck. The arms/hands are wood with some plasticine details, covered in a glued paper mache. The top photo shows the first few layers of paint of many.

There were three other scenes at the hangar, a seance scene, a poltergeist scene, and after leaving the vampire scene was an outdoor cemetery scene with the grim reaper directing people to a pathway leading through a neighbors skeleton scene, then to the next neighbors fairy/elf land scene. Drew around 2 hundred kids and adults with lots of laughs and scares. Looking forward to a bigger and better Halloween next year.

I also want to add that for the first half of the day yesterday I had my first official exhibition at the local library which featured my driftwood sculptures, and it was an amazing success. Turn out was around 200 people and I was even lucky enough to make a few sales of my art. It was a truly amazing and inspirational day.
