it works so well because everything is centered between both the subjects away-turned heads! it all moves so gloriously and it reminds me of that exhilarating feeling of rapture that you get when you are this surrounded by beauty.

Oh wow.. oh wow oh wow oh wow.. The background.. the foreground.. the midground... all amazing!. The clouds are spectacular and really making this photo stand out. One has to look relatively closely to discover the wonderful green alps hidden in the clouds and the foreground. This is a very cool "effect." Awesome piece!

Oh wow. What a gorgeous view. I wish there was somewhere around here that had a view like that...or a view at all. The closest we get is a valley by the Saskatchewan River half an hour out of town. Would you believe that the one continuous yellow hill just isn't the same as the lush green mountains?
In any case, I like the way you have this very definitive foreground and background that contrast each other, yet compliment eeach other.

one thing that I would suggest, based on what I've learned in my photography class, is that it could have turned out even better if you didn't center the two guys in the picture. I think it would look even better if you had moved the camera up or down slightly, depending on if you preferred more sky or more stream. Just a thought, still a great shot you have.

Oh, don't do that to me! I soooooo miss the Swiss alps! Not that we don't have incredible nature here, but it's not the same.....
Looking at this picture brings back many memories as my familiy went hiking in those alps almost every weekend!
I love the perspective with the creek disappearing and the sheer feeling of height. I'm jealous!
