Wow! Daily Deviation!!!
I almost missed all the fun, staying the whole day in bed with terrible fever...
I would like to thank everyone who faved and/or commented!!!
To those, who asked: the image was shot as-is, no manipulations. Of course, the image was carefully planned, and, like many correctly guessed, the "head" is in fact a spoon. The whole construction is based on a simple white plate flipped upside-down

haha! its so cool that at first glance you can't tell its forks, and then when you find out it is, it makes the picture so much more cooler

I really like it. The composition is just right so it looks like the creature is crawling from the depths of our plates. I think it might have looked better with a slightly bigger depth of field so that the handle on the raised fork would be slightly more in focus. But it is a wonderful piece as is.

When I first saw this in the DD stream I thought it was a creepy creature and would be part of horror and macabre. I was delighted to see that it was what it was.
