Personality: Valeris is generally a strong willed girl who always has her guard up but can easily be flustered by her companions. She is very caring towards others and tries to support them, often overwhelming herself from excessive worrying. Being a Princess she often acts very proper around those outside of her personal guard. She has a strong desire to save her people after the war starts to the point that she does not go with Keidan to gather the remaining Sacred Treasures, instead she stays behind in Zazath to build an allied army to try to take back her Kingdom and free her people, as she felt that was of greater importance then the legend of the Sacred Treasures.

Background: Valeris is the Princess of Mistral, and the second child of King Vysin. At the start of the story, her Kingdom is invaded by the Rythern Kingdom in a surprise attack. Her castle was quickly overrun. At the order of her father and brother, she and her three personal guards escape through a secret tunnel that traveled under the lake leading to a hidden exit past the shore. After she escapes, her and her guards then decide to head to the Zazath Kingdom and request their protection at the request of her father. On their travels, they get captured by a group of civilians who sought the reward Rythern had placed on them, as well as the protection that came with cooperating with the Rythern Kingdom. They are saved by a wandering mercenary who helped them escape. Valeris requests the aid of the mercenary in escorting her and her men to Zazath's Capital City, Croita. Keidan, the mercenary, agrees to help them. After many difficult obstacles they finally arrive in Croita. After meeting with the King of Croita, a group of Rythern Assassins ambush the throne room. They manage to fight off the attack while also learning the secret of WHY the Rythern Kingdom attacked Mistral. After learning the truth, she puts her faith in Keidan to stop the Rythern Kingdom's plans, but she couldn't follow him on that mission. She decides to request the King to allow her to recruit a volunteer army, and reclaim her Kingdom from the clutches of the Rythern Kingdom. As she and Keidan part ways, she begins her quest to reclaim her land and save her people.
