~ This is an assignment in which we had to produce an artwork inspired by an artist we researched of our choice. I was researching Katsushika Hokusai (葛飾北斎), and the work I chose to reproduce inspired by him was The Ghost of Kohada Koheiji (こはだ小平次). I chose to make his kimono reversed to emphasize that he is dead, and there are little wisps of eerie ghost lines above him.
