Team Galactic was getting tired of having to deal with the Champion of the Sinnoh region Cynthia constantly foiling their plans. So this time instead of challenging her to a Pokémon battle (as is tradition) they ambushed her from behind and knocked her out with chloroform! They then proceeded to tightly tie her up in the basement of their hideout and muffle any cries for help with a nice plump ball gag!
