Part 2 -->Shortly after the Merchants had revived Kyurem, a chilling blizzard swept over Tao Village. Due to the sudden drop in temperature, many Pokemon quickly fell ill. Ryder suffered like many reptilians such as him, and became terribly sick, not being able to leave the house.
Clark worried for his team mate, but when news broke out that Dr. Quaak and his medical assistants had begun making medicine that helped Pokemon overcome their colds, he hurried to help gather the ingredients.
-----------------------------------
"What am I going to do? There's no way I can get all the ingredients in time..." Clark thought to himself. Being a fire-type, the frosty earth beneath his feet didn't bother him as he trotted across the village center.
"Maybe I should stay home with Ryder, watch over him and just get some medicine once the other teams have brought back enough of the materials...but what if that will be too late?". Clark was beginning to feel desperate.
"Someone's gotta help us! I can't let Ryder suffer, he can't handle the cold! I-I have t-to help-p-", the Growlithe choked back small sobs, staring down at the powdery white snow as he picked up his pace, no longer looking where his feet carried him.
"Oof!" The sudden collision scared Clark, who jumped backwards in shock. "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was goin-", Clark looked up to find a Litwick staring back at him with a disgusted look on it's face.
"Be more observant next time!" The Litwick stated, straightening his black bow-tie. Clark was about to apologize again when he noticed a Cubchoo standing opposite to the Litwick, with an orange scarf wrapped around her neck, looking upset.
"Castor! Don't be so rude, it was just an accident, that Growlithe was probably worrying about something, couldn't you tell?" said the Cubchoo, addressing her partner.
"Ugh, I suppose you're right, Rin, but that still gives him no reason to run into me...What's you're name anyway, kid?" asked Castor, suddenly turning his attention to Clark.
"Me? Um, I'm Clark. Sorry about all this, it's just that I wasn't thinking, ya see, my team mate Ryder came down with a bad cold, and I was on my way to get some medici-"
"Oh! You poor thing, and you're doing this all by yourself?" exclaimed Rin, a look of empathy appearing on her face. "You could use some help, couldn't you?"
"Uh, you know, that'd be nice actually...", said Clark, looking up at the chance for some assistance.
"Well we'd be happy to help you, wouldn't we Castor!" chimed Rin, looking encouragingly to her partner.
"Hmmm". The Litwick rubbed his hand under his mouth, slowly spreading into a wide grin. "Of course! That is, if we get something worthwhile in return, Clark", said Castor, flashing his white teeth.
"I think there's a reward, since every Guild Master is involved..." started Clark, trying not to sound intimidated.
"Excellent", Castor smiled again, his purple flame began to burn vigorously, casting shadows across the snow. "Team Ultraviolet at your service!"
