My OCs, Mihos and Flora! These characters are fairly new, and I'm writing their story, but I have been thinking about them for a while. I'll go through their backstory and some general information. I'll try to keep it short.

The Backstory: (Happened before the main story)
In this world, the government rules over everyone and everything. They control the media, every industry, and the people. Mihos and Flora came from one of the poorest parts of the big city, and were never that noteworthy in the history of the world. Flora was never very outgoing, she mostly was just another kid in the neighborhood. Mihos loved sports and everything active. He was always the most popular in his friend group, organizing events and get-togethers every moment he could. Mihos and Flora grew up in very different parts of the city. Until one day, the government wanted to assess a new genetic alteration technology, as they used to do a lot. Mihos and Flora were selected as test subjects at random from a list of all the poor citizens. In the middle of the night, Mihos and Flora were taken away by government agents and brought to the laboratory, where they were fused with non-human DNA. Mihos being fused with Lion (...but I haven’t actually decided if it's specifically lion yet…) DNA, and Flora being fused with plant DNA. (Lots of things happen while they’re at the lab, but it’s mainly just Mihos becoming more aware of what he says, and Flora learning that her quietness can hurt people sometimes.)

Small Summary of the actual Story:
After being merged with non-human DNA, they are now people of interest in the eyes of the government, however they let Mihos and Flora return to the city. Warren and Nikki, two full humans who work for the government branch of personal mail moderation, stumble into Mihos and Flora because of this whole war that broke out but it’s this whole thing I’m not going to explain right now! They team up to defeat the corrupt aliens spread throughout the city. It’s basically just an epic JRPG journey about some genetically modified kids and government agents beating up aliens.
