Description
Introduced in 2025 as the primary weapon of the Global Defence Initiative, the M32A1 Assault Rifle is a modular weapon platform designed as an evolutionary successor to the M16. Unlike traditional AR-15s using a gas-operated system, the M32 system is triggered by a small electronic pulse allowing for a slight reduction in recoil and increased rate of fire. The M32A1 saw heavy action in the War of 2029, where it was used in by most nations under the GDI as a standard infantry weapon.
