Love your understanding and use of colour in your images, but especially in this one...
Green is usually such a natural colour, yet grabs your attention as it feels out of place in a portrait.

I didn't know that... if that's true then it's a very interesting custom, does it represent something ? ie. good luck or something else ?
as for the picture I like how you stylized it to look more like a digital painting rather than a photo, great technique
