I really love the image and idea! Though , I feel as though perhaps the composition and the expression of birth would have been expressed more if her hand holding the base of the fire was at her abdomen. This might have further depicted the expression of birth as we all come from the womb and to still keep the awesome lighting on her face have the fire wisp up to the towards her hand that she has extended up above to contain this spiraling cycle of life. They eye can then travel up and down the image then due to the elaboration, if produced, at the mid lower bottom.

the hands position (one up and one down) is a try to show some kind of "circle". The concept I worked is Requiem, after all, and I played with the idea of rebirth after death, circle of energy...those things.
