I read the comments from the photographer regarding the original photo. She was in another world, listening "Everstar" from the second Lord Of The Rings Soundtrack. Really an inspired song... She was "towards the within"....
"Towards the within" is a song too... a Dead Can Dance song.... It's my inspiration to this work...

she looks like a ventriloquist's(sp?) dummy. her face seems so perfectly smooth and shiny, and the edge of her face is a hard edge. its as if her whole face is a plastic model. this is accentuated further by the closed eyes (eyes being the most 'realistic' part of a normal person). i know that the original photo was like that but her breasts look most peculiar, i'm not sure how to describe it, but somehow mottled and hand-drawn.

Well, For your commentary I think that you considered only the faithful reproduction of the photo....I can say that my intention wasn't be potorealistic. You're not wrong, your points are correct. But they are little insensitive on evaluating this work...
In the next vector, I will try don't leave these aspects in evidence...

my points weren't necessarily critical, i was just commenting on how it looks. its not necessarily a bad effect, but it does look somewhat peculiar if you're expecting a more photo-realistic vector

Wow, this looks so pretty. I love her face. The whole lighting and shadowing done with gradients is so superb. And would you look at that necklace. That mustve taken a hell of a time. The shirts has great design though it would look much better if it was whiter/brighter. All in all I'm loving your vectors. Continue these avatar battles, that way we get to see more amazing stuff
