Okay sooo... I heard Deviantart was stealing peoples' art and using it in an ai nft business thing. I don't really know all the details but it makes me frankly a bit uncomfy having a deviantart account, so sadly I'm gonna be nerfing this account and all the posts within it

That being said, I'm not dropping art. I've got other socials you can view me (a lot more actively on).
What this means though, is that I'm gonna have to move over any important posts of mine to these other socials and that any art memes I wanted to do I'll be posting on places like Twitter rather than Deviantart sadly.

What does this mean though?
Well, firstly, it means that if any of my bases you wanted to use, you better use them now, since I honestly don't care enough about my bases here enough to transfer them over. None of them are super stellar to me, and I'm probably just gonna use Toyhouse to create new bases.
Templates however, are different. I am actually really happy with the Mustelia Template, and will be moving it over to my Mustelia Toyhouse world. I'll move the species template too. Honestly, I think I'll just have a toyhouse character for my templates and bases :>

What happens to all of my art commissioners? Especially the ones who paid money??
Firstly, no, I'm not dropping the owed art. Especially not to the people who already paid. That would be incredibly unfair! If I owe anybody art, I'm making it and making sure they get it before I delete my account.

Why do I see you're still on here?
This could go one of two ways. If I'm still here and you're following me still, that's me. If you see me disappear, or you see a CritterBones account that you are not following, that is NOT me. The only way I'd still be here, is if all my old posts are here.

I'm always known as ToucanTropic now! I actually do have a deviantart account I'm still gonna keep for my new user soon, but there will be no posting, and it's just to archive old stuff and lock the user so nobody impersonates me

I'm super excited, since the server has had a lot of love put into it and I've updated a lot of old art and outdated channels! There's lots of emoticons, bot games, and channels as well! There are also channels for promoting your art and writing comms cause I think there are a lot of underrated artists out there!

Thank you so much for sticking with me and giving my posts love. You guys have always genuinely brightened my days and I really hope I'll be able to see you again soon, perhaps in somewhere a little less shady as Deviantart :')

This place and I have some really old history, some that was lost to time, and as hard as it is to let go of such memories from Deviantart, I just can't respect them for stealing the work creators have spent sometimes hours on. It's not right.

I don't know when I'm gonna delete the account cause there are still some art memes I want to save, some bases I want to fill, some artists who I want to commission (and get art from said comissions), but the moment I feel like I've done everything I wanted to do, this account will be gone, so please please please if you want to save and use any of my bases, templates, buy some adopts, etc, I need you to do that!
