Description
The first part of the painting has begun.
I painted all the wood of the guillotine.
How ironic to be painting wood to look like wood again.

First I primed the entire guillotine matt black.
Mixed some brown, black and a little red for a dark brown base coat.
As a second coat I used plain brown.
To finish the wood effect I mixed brown with some white and yellow.
With this tan colour I drybrushed all the wood and it was done.

Next up are the metals.
