Backstory: Olive grew up with many disorders as a child, to her adult years. (Insomnia Disorder, Social Anxiety, and a mild case of Schizophrenia) She has been taking medication for years, and is still trying to cope with her disorders. When she was little she was very kept to herself, and enjoyed most things kids her age hated or feared. For example, Olive has always had a big obsession with clowns. Clowns made her laugh, whilst the other kids cried their eyes out. She even had continued her obsession into high school. That was most of the reason she was picked on, but also for her many disorders. Olive had never noticed that constant hate pushed towards her, since she was such a positive child. She wore her crooked smile proud. In her first year of high school, she had gotten in a car accident, while she and her aunt were driving to the mall. In the commotion of the car flipping and the windows shattering, a glass shard struck her eye. She had lost two things that day. Her eye, and her Aunt Mel. After her Aunt had passed, Olive fell into a small depression, as she felt Mel was the only one who understood her and cared. Her depression lasted until Grade 10. She had decided it was time to move on, and feel happy. Olive began to cheer herself up, with her clown obsession, making it worse. She would cover her room in creepy clown accessories, til her family members swore to never set foot into her room.
Grade 11 was the time where Olive thought she had finally made a best friend. Her name was Camilia Lopez, and Olive saw her as someone who would protect her, and be like a big sister, being an only child. Olive told Camilia everything, about her. Her disorders, her glass eye, her extreme love for clowns, and what happened to her Aunt Mel. She believed Camilia would cherish the thought of being told all this, and help Olive, but no. Two days after she had trusted Camilia and told her everything, most of the school had already known. It had spread like wild fire, that Olive was a complete freak, and classmates, and thought-to-be friends began to either avoid her, or harass her. Leaving her locker vandalized with horrible sayings, and stuffed with notes, and unwanted things.
Olive was taken to the office by a decent girl in her first period class, and she was sent home until everything could be solved.
At home, since Olive hasn't been attending school her grades began to drop. Being the straight A, Honor Roll student that her father adored, was not the case any longer. Her father would constantly yell at her, beating her up verbally, even sometimes in African (so sometimes she wouldn't even know what he was saying). Many times has Olive & her mother, tried to explain that it was her fault, her father would not accept it, or listen.
Ultimately, Olive couldn't bare to stay there any longer. She dropped out of school, not attending Grade 12, and ran away from her home in downtown Vancouver. She went somewhere, where she thought she could be safe.
Fun facts:
~ Camilia constantly feels as if she is being stalked, or "watched". She often gets notes stamped on her apartment door, saying, "You lying whore, you'll pay." Olive has not physically harmed her, because she enjoys to watch her victims go insane, first.
~ Camilia is actually a whore. c;
~ Her love of clowns, has made it's way to her mask, but only in small ways.
~ Her parents are now divorced, because her father is an asshole.
