El Dr. Curt Connors lo tenia todo una bella esposa, un buen hijo y un exelente trabajo en Oscorp hasta que un día Curt intento advertirle a Norman Osborn que su reactor de arco (Un intento de imitar a Tony Stark) era inestabla y peligroso pero Norman no escucho al buen Dr. y como consecuencias hubo una explocion en Oscorp que mato a la familia de Connors y le quito su brazo derecho. Una semana después, el Dr. Connors intento demandar a Osborn pero los habogados, riquezas y las influencias de Norman evitaron que termine en la cárcel.

Un año después el Dr. Connors aun seguia enojado y frustado ya que lo perdio todo por culpa de Osborn pero un día él encontró un tubo con el mutageno del Kraang y en su laboratori en su casa descubrio que el mutageno pude mezclar el "ADN humano" con el de otras formas de vidas, así que Connors mezclo el mutageno con ADN de lagarto y de otros reptiles, se inyectó el mutageno y recupero su brazo pero al mismo tiempo se transformo en un monstruo, mitad humano y mitad reptil. Ahora el Dr. Connors es un mutante con deseos de venganza contra Osborn y de transformar a los humanos en reptiles como él.

Dr. Curt Connors had everything a beautiful wife, a good son and an excellent job at Oscorp until one day Curt tried to warn Norman Osborn that his arc reactor (an attempt to imitate Tony Stark) was unstable and dangerous but Norman did not listen to the good Dr. and as a result there was an exploration in Oscorp that killed Connors' family and removed his right arm. A week later, Dr. Connors tried to sue Osborn but Norman's crushed, riches and influences prevented him from ending up in jail.

Now Dr. Connors is a mutant with a desire for revenge against Osborn and to transform humans into reptiles like him.
