Yoshi es una perversa mujer guerrera china que practicó y entrenó en las artes marciales de “Wushu” que explota los golpes con piernas y pies, ella viste una ropa especial que hacen más cómodos y más rápidos sus movimientos.

Yoshi tiene el aspecto de una mujer joven con un largo cabello de color verde oscuro, ojos del mismo tono y el ceño fruncido Su voz es grave y sus gestos rudos, lo que le confierecierto aire masculino acentuado por su forma de hablar y su violencia en el campo de batalla.

Ella tiene un fuerte sentimiento de superioridad sobre los demás, Ama la lucha más que ninguna otra cosa, y afirma que su único deseo es llegar a ser más fuerte para poder disfrutar en sus peleas y acabar con más oponentes a cada paso que dé, así que decidió entrar a un museo de china y robar un artefacto místico antiguo. También la actitud de ambos en la batalla es muy diferente, ya que mientras que el abanico es empleado como un escudo, la espada recae toda la ofensiva.

En su forma defensiva la parte del abanico se convierte en la principal, creciendo hasta un tamaño incluso mayor que la propia Yoshi y recubriendo con una armadura plateada el cuello y el brazo izquierdo de la guerra psicópata.

Cuando es la parte ofensiva la que se desea mostrar con mayo fuerza, el jian es la parte dominante, y la armadura se extiende por el cuello y el brazo derecho de Yoshi. Además, al cambiar de una forma a otra, Yoshi debe pasar antes a la forma intermedia en la que coexisten jian y abanico, quedándose unos instantes prácticamente indefens, algo que acabaría por ser su perdición.

En China Yoshi ya estaba harta de pelear con simples y débiles oponentes ya que no la complacían para nada pero cuando se entero de la existencia de Superman y de lo ese hombre podía hacer, Yoshi penso que tal vez Superman podía ser un verdadero desafió así que viajo a Metrópolis y empezó a crear caos para llamar su atención.

Cuando Superman la enfrentó la situación fue casi difícil debido que se dio cuenta que las armas de Yoshi estaban hechas de magia y que podian hablar y al igual que la Kryptonita, Superman era vulnerable a la magia.

Pero con o sin magia, Superman debe ponerle un alto a esto. No fue fácil para el gran Campeón pero al final pudo derrotar a Yoshi y enviarla a prision aunque claro Yoshi juro que se vengaría de Superman por humillarla por lo tanto Yoshi se convirtió en otra enemiga del Hombre de Acero.
