Long ago Urien kidnapped the young girl for his scientific projects, and Chun-Li rescued her from his clutches. Since then she continued to raise her. When Winter Paragon (son of Chun-Li and Steve Rogers) became an Avenger she decided to be of use to society as same as he. She study law Magna Cum Laude in Columbia University and met Manfred "Manny" Justice (Son of Apollo Justice and Franziska Von Karma)

She's known as Franziska Von Karma's successor as a prodigy attorney and prosecutor.
She joined alongside Manny to the Heroes For Hire Anything Agency and together they managed to expel The Hand from New Metro City. Some years later, Manny left to Los Angeles unexplained and Li-Fen felt betrayed. She went also to Los Angeles as a Prosecutor in order to solve her issues with Manny the same way Franziska did with Phoenix Wright. Beating him at his own game.

She's a Tai-Chi practitioner and has the same powers and skills as Shadow Lady because she was given a perfected Centipede Super Soldier Serum.
