Another Known Aliases: SP//dr, Spider Woman, Spider Girl

When Peni Parker was nine, her father died piloting the SP//dr suit. She was informed by her uncle Ben and her aunt May that she was the only person able to carry on the project, and accepted the responsibility, allowing the radioactive spider that formed the other half of SP//dr's CPU to bite her.

During the Convergence, she was dragged into this newly formed universe, placed on a stasis module by M.O.D.O.K. for years, until she was seemingly rescued by Captain America (Steve Rogers). Years later she became best friends with Dorai Buchanan Rogers (Steve Rogers and Chun-Li's son). Dorai tolerated her presence because she reminded him of his childhood sweetheart. Hyo Sonn Han. She respects deeply both Rogers and Han. She cares for both Dorai and Hyo Sonn, but she's jealous of their relationship.

After the damage made by Torunn on her SP//dr suit during SHIELD bootcamp, Mary Jane Watson gave her an upgraded version of the Iron Spider armor made by the deceased Tony Stark, outfitted with an Arc Reactor.
