When an outbreak of an unknown virus re-animates the dead, society rapidly descends into chaos. Within a matter of months, what remains of civilization has cut itself off from the rest of the world leaving those left behind to fend for themselves. Those who survived are forced to adapt to the nightmarish wasteland that was once human civilization by becoming nomads, scavengers or hunters and must make do with what limited resources that remained throughout the world.

Here a survivor must navigate safely out of the zombie-infested streets ankle-deep in debris and corpses into the rural areas after exhausting his previous safehouse of all of its resources, question is will he succeed? As he advances further out the city each step he takes, every block he crosses makes the city's once living bloodthirsty inhabitants ever more aware of his presence.
