The story begins with our protagonist Quartzstar(Dark grey and white cat), a newly appointed leader and former medicine cat of Thunderclan. After the previous leader and deputy died in an ambush, she was chosen by Starclan to be the next leader- much to her surprise. Now she has to deal with the struggles of navigating through the current war with Skyclan.
Knowing that she lacks leading experience, Starclan is much more involved in making decisions for Quartzstar, for better or for worse. Unfortunately, some other felines also try and "help" her through this stressful point in her life. Will this help Quartzstar for the better? Or will the pressure send her spiraling down.
