Hey guys, how’s it going.

Drew the Juggernaut from Marvel comics. Wanted to practice drawing muscles, which is something I rarely do.

The reason being that DeviantArt, while a site I admire, is well known for its questionable pieces. No offense to anybody by the way, I’m just saying I would not want to fall into that territory.

But given that being an artist means to master anything, I figured I might as well try drawing muscular characters.

It was weird going with the Juggernaut out of all characters, but I wanted to draw big muscular guy from marvel, or rather a brute. If you’re wondering why I didn’t go with the Hulk, well I didn’t really feel like drawing him.

I feel like I did pretty well for most of the anatomy. I will say the quads are my favorite. However, given that I used references of lean men for poses and then bodybuilders for muscles, it went as well as you would expect.

The torso especially screams RIP anatomy in the abdominal area. It taught that if I’m going to draw a brute character, I should mainly use bodybuilder references.

Despite this, I’m still pretty proud of it.

The Juggernaut is a character I do not know much about. The only things I know about him, are that he’s apparently the brother of Professor X, he gets his powers from a gem, and he was famous for that one meme in the 2000s.

Oh yeah, and I did this art traditionally. Wanted to point that out.

Anything related to Juggernaut is owned by Marvel and 20th Century Fox
