...I don't know why I colored it. I felt like it. Huh. That's not favoritism at all *laughs*My Riddler Redesign. I REALLY didn't like what they did to Ed in The Batman... I don't know, I'm sort of used to the sort of grinning, red headed image, and having him have long black hair and not wear a derby and complain about how his father never loved him and... well, I don't know. It felt a bit strange. And the lipstick. Wut.
ANYWAY, the outfit is sort of a mixture of the Riddlers I grew up with, I guess. As long as he looks snazzy. *laughs*

Now that is a Riddler worthy of praise. I too had a problem with the new Riddler, as well as everything else in that show. I could totally see Johnny Depp wearing that in Batman 3 too.

I love it! I'm actually rather fond of that Marilyn Manson-looking Riddler from The Batman, though, but other than the whole riddling thing and probably having the same name, they aren't very similar at all. Took me a while to get used to it, though. Still, both of them are lovely <3

The redesign was just catering to the modern generation, although I don't think they could be bothered to look up from slashing their wrists to watch the tv.
I'm a sap for the sharp suit and bowler myself. It's a crime if Enygma isn't red-headed.

Riddler was always my favourite villian as a kid.
Then as I got older it was Mad Hatter, Scarecrow and now I'm in a Joker phase. I love everything in BTAS anway.

I like how you drew the Riddler, he's very handsome. I do agree about 'The Batman', because they made Eddie look like a woman, which is not sexy at all!

Yes, I HATE how they drew him in The Batman. He looks like an absolutely crazy faget. I always loved the suit & tie getup myself, it goes with his intellectual personality. This is cool, though. If they're going to put him in a jumpsuit, it should at least look something like this. And agreed, I always liked him as the readhead.
Also, I was going to say that the way you drew him is very cool, he reminds me of Alex from A Clockwork Orange.

-violates Riddler's personal space bubble by far by simply glomping him- He's adorably malfeasant. :3 -purrs- I absoultely adore this redesign you've done of him! Though I still think Eddie's just plain more of a suit-and-tie kind of a guy, this version is by far a close second to his designs in the Hush comic arc and TAS version.
And boy, do I agree that the redesign for the Riddler in The Batman was just too drastic. On its own, as an independant design, I might like it - if it weren't supposed to be the Riddler. -sighs, shuddering slightly- Well at anyrate, your version is kick-ass-in-a-glass awesome. :3

I know what you mean about The Batman series. I enjoy it, but doesn't have the same charm/feeling as the ones by Bruce Timm. First time I saw a comercial for The Riddlers' first episode, i was all like, "WHY THE HELL DOES HE LOOK LIKE A WOMAN?"

I don't like what they did to Riddler in The Batman series either, it's just weird and doesn't resemble the character at all. I don't like what they did to most of the characters though.
I've always perfered the Riddler in his suit personally. I just can't see the smooth talking, quirky, intellegent villian wearing an all in one affair. But thats probably down to the version of him that I prefer *shrugs*

I could never get into The Batman. I saw the first episode with my brother, thinking 'yay, Batman's back!' and then walked away ten minutes later when I saw the villians. None of them looked as cool as they did when I was growing.
But who cares about that, right? I love your Riddler design. He looks very cool. I always liked villians like him.

Did you see the Superman episode called Knight Time? The Riddler was wearing a leotard with purple ballet slippers. This is a better costume by far.
