Description
With all the A.I stuff everywhere you look these days, I thought I would post some of the art I've been doing up for our rulebook - The Nethering - which is a set of rules for playing D&D5e without a Dungeon Master. Myself and my fellow author - "Moe" - are now at the stage where we are doing up some art for the book. And as we started gaming with the old Moldvay edition of D&D basic oh so many years ago in the way back when, the old black and white art of that edition always stuck with us down through the years so we chose that style for our book. And as this project has a shoe-string budget (i.e. non-existent) we decided to have a go at drawing all the art ourselves even though we are not skilled artists. The sketches I'm posting are all done with various shades of pencil and some charcoal and were a lot of fun to draw!

This is a sketch of a stereotypical dungeon crawl scene - is it a treasure chest? Or something more....shall we say, dangerous!!!
