I really don't like Light either, but I always feel bad when I watch his death scene, because it was mostly Ryuk's fault, in a a way. He wasn't a bad guy at first.

Well at least he died in the end and justice was SERVED!! I think Light had the right intentions, but he just took a dark path on it :C He should have given the book to the police and used it as the death penalty, or a way to end peoples lifes who are in pain (like really sick people)

I didn't, but my friend did and told me to never watch it. Hollywood screws up any book or anime it makes a movie out of. The only execption was The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and that was originally a short story.
I heard they're considering making a remake of Bleach.
