The woman spoke to Rebekah. Her voice was soft and gentle as silk, but with an age to it that calmed her with each word.

"Why hast thou summoned me?" the woman asked.

Rebekah stuttered for a moment and stammered "I- My-" she paused and gathered her thoughts before continuing. "My friend was pulled into a portal a few weeks ago, and I was hoping to ask for your help in finding and saving her." Rebekah took a deep breath and waited for the response.

The woman's eyes took in everything around her and Rebekah. A brief flash of something crossed her eyes when she saw the book, but was gone as quickly as it had arrived. Her hatred for the book that held the spell of her captivity was just outside the circle that held her.

She looked into Rebekah's pleading eyes, "Yes, I can reunite thou with thine friend. Stand." She started to extend her hand.
