He was so cute. Did anyone notice that the guy taking the money back wasn't actually counting, he just kept taking bills until Mako's hand was empty? (and he looked surprisingly like Bolin with the deflated expression on his face).

I think he just wanted to troll Mako. Like, give him the prize money, then take that money back since it's practically summed up equally to the amount the brothers technically owe him.
