The early days of Empress Akyion’s reign are infamous in history.

Beginning with the loss of Lumessa’s beloved Empress Solaris, Akyion reluctantly took her wife’s position as sovereign due to Solaris’ inability to produce an heir. However, the idea of a “dragon queen” ruling over men was something many were unwilling to accept, resulting in the Civil War of 0.3. R.R.

Still grieving the loss of her love, Akyion quelled the uprising with force unseen since El’s appearance nearly two centuries past, razing the earth and burning the dissenters to ash.

With her monarchy secure, Akyion’s long lifespan allowed for a time of peace. However, as the decades dragged on, she drew further from her human subjects; unwilling to grow attached to those who would perish long before her.

Eventually, her salvation came in the form of an abandoned dragon egg.

Akyion incubated the egg herself, claiming the hatchling as her own and naming the little one her heir.

Despite the concerns of her advisors, this decision has been one without regret. Adopting Galien was the best thing that had happened to her since the death of her love, and Akyion is willing to do anything in her power to see her daughter succeed.
