Description

Silversight carefully approached his brother. Lightningstar looked just as bad as he had when after the battle two days ago, when everything fell apart.

"What are you doing here?" Lightningstar hissed

"It's over." Silversight hung his head. " Cactusclan is gone and the survivors sent me to salvage what's left. They want me to kill you..."

"Then do it, there's nothing left for me anyway. My friend is dead, my own clan betrayed me, even the stars have turned against me!" Lightningstar shouted.

"That's not how I want us to end" Silversight took a step forward. "And it doesn't have to be this way. The stars have shown me a different path."

"The stars?" Lightningstar scoffed, "You still trust them after everything!?"

Silversight ignored his brother's comment. "Run away from the setting sun, far away from here. An old friend will await you. You'll be safe, and we can live in peace."

There was silence for a long moment as Lightningstar considered his brother's words.

"Even after everything you've done, you're still the only family I have left." Silversight murmured

Lightningstar stepped towards Silversight. At first he thought his brother would attack, but instead the former leader pressed his nose against the medicine cat's cheek. "Then this is goodbye."

With that, Lightningstar walked away from the setting sun, away from the remains of his clan forever.

"Then do it, there's nothing left for me anyway. My friend is dead, my own clan betrayed me, even the stars have turned against me!" Lightningstar shouted.

"That's not how I want us to end" Silversight took a step forward. "And it doesn't have to be this way. The stars have shown me a different path."

"The stars?" Lightningstar scoffed, "You still trust them after everything!?"
