Say hello to Connie, the android sent by CyberLife! Had an idea for a slight DBH AU where CL actually developed a male and a female version of the RK800 for testing purposes. After Connor experienced two cases of physical aggression from law enforcement at the DPD on only his second day (Gavin sucker punching him, and Hank shoving him up against the wall), the techs recalled him and uploaded him into the female model instead. They had initially thought that using the male model would work best with law enforcement, assuming it would be more likely for Hank (and others on the predominately male force) to view Connor as a peer, and thus more inclined to listen to him. When their assumption proved incorrect, however, they went with plan B, thinking that they could at least take advantage of lifelong social conditioning against men casually striking women to keep their android in one piece.
Turns out they were right. The fact that ‘Connie‘ was just as tall as her male counterpart (6′1″) and just as physically and mentally capable didn’t hurt either.
God I feel like this took forever to finish for some reason 8′D I’m kind of at a weird place with my coloring, can’t really decide where I want it to go…
And yes I realized I forgot the ‘RK800‘ on her jacket -sighs-
